Once the site of a great castle, Thorndyll is built from the crumpled foundation with the former castle’s corridors as streets and its rooms as shops and places of residence. The entire stone foundation of the town is covered with a roof of densely woven bramble, so that approaching visitors only see a mass of overgrowth, and those within are submerged in the dim and dappled light peering through the ceiling of thorns.
Gatehouse - Only structure still visible among the bramble where the sole knight of thorns resides and keeps watch.
The Dungeon District - Small residences made from former cells. Slummish, but not seedy.
Wall District - Mishmash of nicer residences and businesses, built in the exterior wall.
Cornerstone Pub & Inn - Business and residence of the Redteeth built in the southwest corner of the Wall District.
The Tangled Assembly - City council that meets in the foundation of one of the watchtowers. It is a cone shaped hole with tiers, similar to an amphitheatre. The council itself is made of 5 members, each belonging to the 5 guilds of Thorndyll.
The Five Guilds -
The Harriers (Hunter’s Guild):
Leader – Flitt Freefoot
